The Cookbook Club
A book club for foodies! Choose a recipe from the selected cookbook author or theme for the month, bring the dish to the meeting to share, and talk food with us.
Meets every 2nd Tuesday at 7 pm.
Books written by Asian, Asian-American and Asian-Anglo authors are discussed along with the culture and setting of the book.
Meets the 2nd Monday of every other month at 7 pm.
Read and discuss fanfiction. Suggest your favorite fics to be read by the group. All fandoms welcome!

Soul of Literature Book Club
A group for the discussion of both classic and popular writings of African American authors. Moderated by Dr. Linda Crowell.
Meets the 1st Monday of every month at 7 pm.
Joining the Writer's Circle gives you access to a network of support for your writing, as well as valuable information to help you on your way. They also arrange guest speakers and put together workshops on specific topics. The group is for participants age 18 and older. The moderator is a librarian with degrees in creative writing and library science.
