Library Card

Any Ohio resident may obtain a Twinsburg Public Library Card. Applicant must present two documents with current address (e.g. official mail, a bill, checkbook, etc) plus a photo ID. A Temporary card may be issued if IDs are not available. Children under the age of 16 must have a parent or legal guardian present to apply and co-sign for a library card. Cards are free for first time applicants. There is a $1.00 replacement fee for lost or stolen cards. Cards issued at the Twinsburg Public Library are recognized at any CLEVNET Library. Print out the library card application and bring it in with you!

Just an FYI: Library card applicants must have a photo ID with present address on it, plus one other form of ID that verifies the address. As of Jan 1st, we now require 2 proofs of current address. So if the driver's license is not current, we will need 2 other forms, such as a utility bill, bank statement or pay stub, verifying current address. Temporary cards can be issued if IDs are not available.

How to Renew Your Library Materials

There are several ways to renew your material. You can either bring your books up to the front desk, or call us at (330) 425.4268 ext. 1. Please be sure to have your card number ready when you call. You can also renew online. Please note: if your items are overdue or not renewable, the computer will not process your request. Please be sure to verify that your items have a new due date to avoid late charges.

How to Reserve Library Materials

If we own a book, but it is checked out, we will reserve it for you. When the book is returned, we'll notify you by phone that it is here and hold it for seven days. We can also reserve material from other libraries in the CLEVNET system at no charge. Items from outside the CLEVNET system are subject to availability and may incur an interlibrary loan charge. See our Interlibrary Loan page for more information. Call the Reference Desk at (330) 425-4268 ext. 2 to reserve items, or place your own reserve through our online catalog.

Bookmyne App

Download the Bookmyne app to your Android or iOS device and you can view your library account easily on your smartphone or tablet. Renew your items. Request items from other libraries. See what you have checked out, even if it is a digital download. It's all there in Bookmyne.
